Note: If you use the ASG XML then it is not necessary download my banlist, because you will already have my bans, but I strongly urge you to download it anyways.

As an XML Contributor, I will always keep my promise in delivering you superior bans of the utmost quality when you download and receive my banlist. Now feel free to slowly scroll down and read more about my wicked sick banlist!

What I ban for:
Leaving without a valid reason when the ratio is playable(5v5,5v4,4v4)
Going AFK (+8mins) without a valid reason
Excessive Flaming/Racism(2 warnings are given in most cases)
Purposely Feeding your hero/items to the other team
Laming, Hacking

What I DON'T ban for:
Leaving with a valid reason/during an uneven ratio(3v5,3v4,3v3 etc.)
Going AFK with a valid reason
Backdooring
Being a "noob"
Lagging out

These are the custom comments I base all my bans on but usually I add things to my bans like let's say it was to a leaver's ban, I would add for example, the hero the leaver was playing with and his score before he left and the motive for him leaving. I never bothered adding custom comments like "lamer" and such because it doesn't happen too often thankfully, so i just make those ones from scratch.

Explanation: The bot automatically spoofchecks, so I do not need to perform a manual one. I change where it says "hosted with Dota Client 2.2" to "hosted using the ASGHost bot." and voilà!

Explanation: Since the bot starts its countdown from 5, I shortened my countdown to start from 10 and end at 6. I added the ".start force" so I don't have to type it everytime because I am very lazy. The force is added because sometimes the bot won't start due to stupid reasons like "Not everyone has been pinged at least 3 times" etc. so this way it will always start.

When someone has left, and the game state is still playable:

Nice phrases and comments. However, it was agreed upon by the vast majority of ASG members and AH's alike that chainleaver and backdooring bans are NO longer allowed on the ASG & the AAH XML. However, since you are an ASG member, it is fine if you ban for chainleaving for now. But, if you decide to apply for the ASG XML, you will have to delete those bans as those are not permitted on the XML. Other than that, I am downloading your list! If you ever want to play some games, drop by @ Clan BLE as it has a lot of ASG members!

Back dooring and chain leaver bans are a sensitive subject, so it is better just to decline those bans. It is a subject that some people think they should be banned and some don't. Besides that your banlist thread is really good and organized.
I will have to agree with ElementUser that the first part has many bright colors.

[ Ban Specifics: Chainleaver ]


Chainleaver bans are not allowed unless they are made under a standard leaver ratio (5v5*, 5*v5, 5v4*, 4*v5, 4*v4, and 4v4).
This policy has changed as of 2008-03-06. Chainleaver bans not of the standard leaver ratio are no longer allowed on the ASG or AAH XML. This is a realm-specific change and applies to Azeroth only.
All current members must remove any existing chainleaver bans not of the standard leaver ratio mentioned above. Potential applicants must remove these bans before applying to an XML. A realm-wide vote on this subject was made here.

I probably wont ban for chain-leaving anyways depending on the motive for leaving. If 2 or 3 people just leave, out of the blue, for no reason, then i might consider banning.

And sorry about bright colors, just wanted to make the important points/words stand out more.

Banlist.nl will automatically update your signature with the appropriate ban / download info every couple of hours, so don't worry about it; it's automatic and dynamic.
