major problems since the server moved

Postby gromhellscreen » 28 Jul 2010, 14:43

hey

there was a topic where we could post problems concerning the server moving but i couldnt find it anymore so i posted my problems here.

- i cant upload my banlist
- banlist crashes every time i leave a game (e.g. if a dota game ends and i leave it, bl crashes).
- i cant ban people (used to work fine, started today. everytime i want to ban someone, i get the same error, as if they were using a name spoofer (name couldnt be found blablabla).

any ideas?
used to work like a charme on win7, an occasional crash once in a while but nothing major and not on a regular basis.

this is most likely to do with your own WC3Banlist installation. all server issues have been resolved.

do you receive any error when uploading your banlist?

(Your banlist account is completely separate from your banlist.nl forum account)

no, it doesnt show me any error and downloading approved lists still works, too. i just stumbled over it while i tried to view my uploaded banlist on banlist.nl for irregularities (missing ratio n stuff) and noticed, that it was blank and no bans at all were tranferred to banlist.nl.

the only time i get errormessages is when bl crashes after i finish a game (it said a problem occured and if i want to continue running bl or close it) and when i try to ban someone i get the same errormessage as if he/she was using a name-spoofer.

if its my bl that got corrupted somehow, maybe i should just back my bans up and do a fresh install of bl?
