- Welcome to the Banlist.nl forums. This is a short guide to help maintain an organized and friendly forum. Please follow these rules as outlined below.
- General Posting
- Post in the forums that match your topic the closest.
- Use search as often as possible to find topics that already discuss your area of interest.
- Read all the stickies in the forum you are about to post into.
- Double Posting is not allowed unless a forum-specific rule states otherwise.
- If you have questions about a specific forum, send a PM to the moderator that is running it.
- Treat other forum members with respect at all times.
- Some forums have specific posting and voting rules; please read all the stickies first.
- If you see any other member violating any of the above rules, please use the report button to report posts.
- You're not allowed to post on any account if one of your accounts is suspended. A banned account counts as a 1 month suspension on all accounts.
- As this is an international board, writing in English is mandatory
- Topics to Avoid
- Discussion about leaked DotA Beta's or unofficial DotA versions, as well as giving information and distribution of screenshots/the map is not allowed on this forum. If you're unsure whether a version is official or not, check http://www.getdota.com.
- Do not make pointless posts. Responding with "Yea" or "lol" is considered spamming. See the forum specific rules for more information as to what constitutes spam. Trolling, flaming and spamming are not allowed.
- Do not post offensive text, images or videos. If you aren't sure if it's offensive or not, then do not post it. Keep in mind that there are many young members in this forum. Offensive content will be taken seriously.
- Do not talk about 3rd party programs (besides banlist, dota client, etc.). These include, but are not limited to: hacks, cracks, pirated software, etc.
- If you have a problem with a member, don't post in the forums about it. Instead, send a PM to the user or moderator directly. If you have a problem with a moderator, send a PM directly to an Administrator. Flaming in forums won't be allowed.
- Some forums have specific posting and voting rules; please read all the stickies.
- If you see any other member violating any of the above rules, please use the report button to report posts.
- The flaming of or trash-talking of any legitimate DotA organization will not be tolerated (i.e. CAL, CEVO, DotA clans, etc).
